Advancing Sustainabilty Through Science, Education and Action

Hi! My name is Lyric Buckley, and I’m currently a first-year honors student at Bridgewater State University. I’m pursing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Science. I’m from a small town in Vermont, where I enjoy spending time with my farm animals and exploring nearby state parks. I’m so excited to be part of the Marine Science and Education team here at Seaside, where I’m able to research marine ecosystems and species and assist in the development and implementation of marine education programs. I chose to intern at Seaside Sustainability because I want to gain real-world experience working in STEM, and being a part of such an accomplished environmental protection organization would provide an excellent entryway to a future career in environmental science.
