Advancing Sustainabilty Through Science, Education and Action

Hi! I’m Sophie and I’m currently a Master’s student at Concordia University, in my hometown of Montréal (Tiohtià:ke), Québec. I am studying in the Master’s of Environment (MEnv), which focuses on environmental assessment and science. My academic work focuses on environmental anthropology and the importance of community-led action in the face of climate change, especially regarding urban flooding in Montréal. Outside of academics, I love biking, reading in the park, embroidery, and listening to jazz. I am excited to work with Seaside in contributing to community-based climate solutions, mitigation, and action!
