Advancing Sustainabilty Through Science, Education and Action

Constance Girard is Seaside Sustainability’s Youth Executive Leader & Development Director, where she has driven some of the nonprofit’s most ambitious initiatives. She spearheaded the Clean & Green Boaters Guide, the Shrink Wrap Recycling Program, and municipal plastics legislation campaigns, while also strengthening Seaside’s nationally recognized youth internship and volunteer program. Constance has led groundbreaking microplastics research, large-scale coastal cleanups, and the development of community playbooks that translate grassroots action into meaningful policy change. With a strong background in policy and education, she is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders to confront systemic climate challenges and advancing scalable solutions to protect oceans worldwide.
